DIMAPUR — The Khiamniungan Union Tuensang (KUT) and Chang Wedoshi Setshang (Chang Students’ Conference) have condemned the May 8 incident at Zeliangrong colony, Dimapur, where Supou P, a final year MA student of Unity College, Dimapur, was allegedly shot dead by a deputy kilonser of the NSCN (Khango) group.

Condemning the “brutal murder” of Supou P of Pang village under Noklak district by deputy kilonser Thengiu (Sic) L Khuming of Noklak village, KUT in a press note appealed the law enforcing agency to reward befitting punishment to the culprit as per the law.
In a separate note, the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) said the incident comes at a time when all sections of the Naga society are relentlessly working towards peace and harmony. The union urged upon the law enforcing agencies to leave no stone unturned and award befitting punishment to the perpetrator and deliver justice at the earliest.
