DIMAPUR — In an effort to empower students with the necessary tools for career planning, the Khezhakeno Students’ Union (KSU) organised a workshop on April 27 at the village council hall in Khezhakeno, Phek district.

According to a press release, Pfücülhu Kevie, president of KSU, congratulated successful HSLC and HSSLC students in his opening address while offering words of encouragement to those who faced setbacks. He emphasised the importance of the workshop in helping students identify their strengths, weaknesses, and interests to navigate their career paths effectively.

Resource person Daniel Kevie, executive engineer, PWD, Pfutsero, shared insights into the notable improvements in the performance of government schools in recent years. Kevie stressed the significance of resilience and ambition in achieving success.

He encouraged students to remain steadfast in their pursuits, despite any perceived disparities between government and private educational institutions, and underscored the accessibility of resources such as the internet, which can aid students in augmenting their learning experiences.

Mechietsho Koza, EAC Chuchuyimlang, shared insights on career choices beyond conventional paths. He urged students to consider professional courses, highlighting the changing dynamics of career pursuits.

He also underscored the significance of building meaningful connections and leveraging digital platforms for entrepreneurial ventures.
