Kohima, Dec. 9 (EMN): Children Education Ministry of Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo (KABA) enthralled revelers with Christmas Carol on Thursday at the Night Carnival in the state capital.
About 80 children presented the songs spreading the joy and love of Christmas, while the associate pastor of Christian Education Ministry, KABA, Alice Walling, delivered a brief message during the event at the ongoing Night Carnival organised by Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) as part of the Hornbill Festival.
KCCI vice president and convenor of Night Carnival, Tolto Vizol, informed that they are providing platform to interested and talented artistes to perform and entertain while getting freewill returns from the revelers.
Woodland performed on December 5 night followed by KABA children ministry on Thursday night.
It was informed that Brass/ Jazz Band from Assam would perform the Night Carnival outside the control room, while Faith Harvest Church Nagamese Ministry would hold evening praise and worship at Nike showroom on December 10.
Vizol also informed that the number of revelers to the Night Carnival has also increased as exams of students are over. Besides the entertainment segment, about 120 stalls with different types of items ranging from food and beverages handlooms, decorative items, toys etc. have been set up.
KCCI general secretary, Henry Chiisiite, informed that awards have also been in-stored for most innovative stall, best decorated building and cleanest stall. The announcement of the winners will be made on December 10.
