Dimapur, Feb. 8 (EMN): Kiphire district planning and development board (DPDB) has decided to recommend for upgrade of EAC Longmatra and EAC Sitimi to that of SDO (C) headquarters to the higher authority.
The decision to this effect was taken in the DPDB meeting held on February 8 under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner and DPDB vice chairman of Kiphire, T Wati Aier, in his office’s conference hall. A DIPR report stated that the board had approved the proposal for registration of Longmatra Area Students’ Union and recommended for necessary action to the higher authority.
In the meeting, power point presentations were made by four departments namely PHE, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, MGN Fello Sukanyas and Piramal Swasthya.
New four members including DPA and DDMA Bubu Patrick Golmei, DSO Auguvito Sumi, JSO of S&WCD Shekimu H Sumi and AEO (Election) Bisalee Thonger were introduced to the members.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner has directed Cooperation department and Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship department to present their activities in the next DPDB meeting.
