A Clean Election Movement (CEM) was organised by KBBB at Mission Centre Mon under the banner ‘Let your vote define a better tomorrow’ on February 9.
The convenor of CEM Mon, Nyamto, in his address, said to promote awareness on clean election, KBBB has constituted constituency-wise clean election movement sub–committees.
The KBBB executive secretary, Chemyuh, read out the guidelines for clean election to the members.
The deputy commissioner (DC) and district election officer of Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, conveyed gratitude for KBBB’s efforts in carrying out the CEM in Mon district. Stating that clean election has to be done for a better future, the DC encouraged a clean, free, and fair election in a peaceful environment.
The superintendent of police, Mon, appealed for cooperation with the police and security personnel to ensure free and fair election.
