Inter-School Penalty Shootout held at Wokha

WOKHA, OCTOBER 2: The 1^st Inter-School Penalty Shootout tournament was held at Wokha on Saturday at the Public Ground Wokha based on the motto “Unity through Sports”. The event was organised by Brighter High School, Wokha (formerly known as AG school) with K. Thavaseelan, I.A.S. ADC, Wokha, as chief guest.

16 schools from Wokha district took part in the tournament. During the penalty shoot-out, Little Angel High School emerged as the champion’s while Mount Carmel, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and Brighter High School emerged as 2^nd, 3^rd and 4th position respectively.

Chenithung, headmaster of Brighter High School gave away the running trophy along with cash and certificates. Brighter High School acknowledged all the teams who represented in the event and assured that “the more is yet to come” and would continue to bring unity through sports.
