Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): The placement cell of Immanuel College, in collaboration with Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., conducted a ‘Career awareness programme’ on March 9 at the college auditorium.
Speaking at the programme, the operation manager of Emporium Training and Consultancy and resource person, Anirbhan Mukherjee, has emphasised on the importance of skills development. He encouraged the students to develop their skills in areas they are interested in besides conventional education. He also enlightened the students not to simply focus on competitive exams but to be prepared for any alternative option.
He further highlighted three sectors namely aviation, hospitality and cruise jobs that the emporium provided employment opportunities to the youth.
Meanwhile, the organisers informed that a similar programme for the students would be conducted on March 10 and 11 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Emporium Skills Training Industries, Vikeye Colony, Dimapur.
