Hollotoli invitational inter-school debate held

Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): The 2nd Hollotoli Invitational Inter-School Debate on topic “Good fences make good neighbours” was held on Oct. 21 at Hollotoli School. The debate was open to students of classes 9 to 12 from various schools.
The judges for the day were assistant professors Dr.Maongkala Longchar, Khrienuo Angami, and Shuiching Konyak. The moderator of the debate was Huka A Yeptho, head boy of Hollotoli School.The participating schools were Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School, Dimapur; Maple Tree School, Dimapur; Delhi Public School, Dimapur; Sainik School, Punglwa; Little Star Higher Secondary School, Dimapur; G. Rio School, Kohima; Army Public School, Rangapahar; Pranab Vidyapeeth Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and Hollotoli School, Dimapur.
Army Public School, Rangapahar represented by Arshiya Mateen and Amanya Sharma won the coveted trophy. Delhi Public School, Dimapur represented by Visale Khieya and Kivikali Yeptho and G. Rio School, Kohima represented by Nzan Ngullie and S Bongai Panja were placed in the 1st and 2nd runners-up while Wapangienla S Longkumer of Hollotoli School was adjudged the best interjector of the competition.
