Dimapur, August 29 (EMN): The Nagaland Health Project (NHP) under the Department of Health and Family Welfare conducted four-day training of health committee members and frontline health workers of Longleng district on community action for health and nutrition at IDSP Hall, Chief Medical Office, Longleng from August 22 to 25.
Consultant community mobilisation, Pukhato and district facilitator, Peren Imlimongla Jamir, spoke on Nagaland health project and communisation, basic health concepts, preconditions, target indicators, action plan development and documents and reports.
The training was attended by the Health Centre Management Committee of Primary Health Centre Yachem, village health committees of Noksosang, Yaongyimchen, Alayong and Sanglu, district facilitator Longleng, field demonstrators and NHM staff.
The training was led by Dr. Thomas Keppen, monitoring & evaluation officer.
