DIMAPUR — With the vision to protect every child from preventable disease through achieving 95% full immunisation coverage, a workshop on dissemination of comprehensive UIP review development for immunisation coverage improvement plan was held on May 3 at De-Oriental Hotel in Kohima. Health
An update from the Health and Family Welfare department stated that the workshop was organised in continuation to the comprehensive review of universal immunisation coverage which was conducted in Nagaland from June 11 to the 18th in 2022 by ITSU under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, government of India.
The resource persons were Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Kamlesh Kumar, Dr. Sonu Gupta, Dr. Swadesh Prasad, Paras Jain, Dr. Sandeep Rathod, Dr. Mona Chopra, Ashok Sharma, Dr. Rajashree Roy, Mahesh Mishra and Satish Kumar.
Report stated that the resource persons spoke on implementation, AEFI and VPD surveillance, logistics and supply chain, data recording and reporting, communication, and urban immunisation.
The workshop concluded with a group work presentation.
