Dimapur, June 18 (EMN): The governor of Nagaland PB Acharya is informed to have met with student leaders and Naga entrepreneurs at the Nagaland House in New Delhi on Sunday.
“During the meeting the governor exhorted the Naga students’ leaders and the Naga entrepreneurs group. He reminded them that they are not only for their individual or for their union/group alone but you all are an ambassador of our state,” a press release from the PRO of Nagaland House informed on Sunday. “You are privileged people to be here in Delhi, be student or business men / women, use Nagaland House as a melting pot for the state and centre, make your state Nagaland as the happiest state in the country. I will be there whenever you need my advice or help…” the governor was quoted having told the gathering.
According to the updates, the students’ leaders and the entrepreneurs “valued the governor” for the “privilege of meeting with him and share their experiences and grievances.” They wished the governor a very happy Father’s Day as well, it added.
Abhishek Singh, Resident Commissioner of Nagaland House at New Delhi; George, deputy secretary to the governor; Maj. Abhishek Biwas, ADC to the governor; and Kuolie Mere, PRO for Nagaland House at New Delhi, also attended the meeting, it added.
