DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 2: Government Higher Secondary School, Peren, and Government Middle School, DC Colony, were declared winner and runners-up respectively of the inter-school singing competition 2016, organised by ZZone Clusters’ Peren on October 1 at Indoor Stadium, Peren town.
Early morning showers failed to dampen the spirit as young children from various schools enthusiastically contested for the coveted prize. After a tight contest, Government Higher Secondary School, Peren, walked away as winners and the Government Middle School, DC Colony, as runners’ up.
Various prizes and gifts were distributed by the special invitee, Tsidi Hairang, EAC Peren, to the participating schools. The judges for the competition were two renowned musicians of the district namely Namnahei Nza and Smti. Zalevonuo.
Meanwhile, ZZone Clusters’ Peren has acknowledged the contribution of various sponsors especially Mrs & Mr Suipeu Iheilung, Kukulung Lungalang, Tsidi, DPRO Peren, VIII Rip, Heipeuding and well-wishers for making the yearly event a grand success.
