Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): Anti Extortion Team (AET) of Dimapur police under Zone-II arrested two persons on charges of trespassing into the office of a prominent print media house on April 24. The accused persons were also wanted for several cases of extortions, a PRO press release said.
The accused persons were identified as AkatoAyemi @ Atoshe, son of Zuhoshe Ayemi of Ahoto village under Niuland and reportedly a 2nd Luiet of the GPRN/NSCN, and Keviletuo Sekhose @ Bubu, son of Y Ibomcha Singh and resident of churches colony, Dimapur, reportedly a Khapur of the GPRN/NSCN.
The accused persons were arrested basing on photographs captured on CCTV of several business establishments. They were arrested them from Golaghat Road area, Dimapur.
Meanwhile, personnel of Diphupar Police Station, on April 22, recovered a Swift Dezire car, which was reportedly snatched from Dimapur at gunpoint few months ago. Two persons were arrested in this connection. They were identified as P Renthungo, son of R Phydemo of Yanthamo village, Wokha, and Elomo Kikon, son of late Nthio Kikon of Tsungiki village, Wokha.
