Football Association Tseminyu district holds introductory programme
Dimapur, April 5 (EMN): Football Association Tseminyu district (FATD) held an introductory programme at RSA ground on Tuesday. An update form DIPR said that Benlo Thyu, President (acting) FATD chaired the programme while Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu exhorted the gathering.
It said that the DC congratulated the players on being selected to represent the district and reminded them that “we are second to none”. \He added that in order to succeed in life, one must remember three things — self confidence, self determination and self discipline. He further encouraged the players with a promise of one lakh rupees if they return home with a trophy. Given the limited resources, the DC also urged the head of existing departments to help the FATD as they are representing the district.
President RSA, GK Rengma, in his speech reminded the FATD team to be ‘patient, cool and composed’ in taking up the challenges ahead and instructed the players to be focused on the task ahead.
CRBC Youth Secretary, Pastor Jonathan Mesen invoked God’s blessing. He said: “Success doesn’t come by just rolling the dice, but by hard work, dedication and by God’s favor only”, it added.
