DIMAPUR, DEEMBER 27
Two houses were gutted in a major fire that broke out at 6th Mile in Dimapur around 6:25 pm. Fire officials said there was no casualty reported in the blaze. According to Commander in-charge, Chumukedima Fire Station, Puli, goods worth lakh were destroyed while cash amounting to Rs. 60,000 was also burnt. The cause of the fire is not known. Reports said that two fire tending trucks from Chumukedima Fire Station and three from Dimapur were pressed into action.
