Faith in Action win Honour Cup Taekwondo National Open Championship

Dimapur, March 15 (EMN): Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy from Nagaland won the national team champion’s title at the recently concluded online 3rd Honour Cup Taekwondo National Open Championship.

The tournament was organised by Honour Martial Arts Academy and Taekwondo Association of Daman and Diu on Feb. 27 and 28.

Faith in Action won the trophy by winning 20 gold, nine silver and one bronze medal, an update stated.

The players participated in both colour and black belt class where in individual category.

The gold medal winners were Tiayanger Imsong, Jon, Liike Kibami, Chithuyio Kajisho, Sungjemmenla Pongen, Nasher Uddin Choudhary, Imnatoshi Longkumer, Altab Uddin Choudhury, Hridhinandan Bhattacharjee,  Shreya Das, Ritodeep Bhattacharjee, Avikali V Sheqi,  Arpita Dey, Kinayala Aier, Henloi W. Angya, Sibom Das, Rupa Thapa and Ricky Ghosh.

Silver medals were won by  Kivin, Hinokali, Kitenlo K. Thono, Rachel Kikon, Vitope Sheqi, Taochiren Aier, Echang W. Magdalene, Dristi Sonowal and Retuwn Philio Anal and bronze was won by Anuska Adhikari.

Meanwhile, in pair poomsae category, gold medals were won by Imnatoshi Longkumer, Sungjemmenla Pongen, Vitope Sheqi and Avikali V Sheqi.
