Everything we know about the new OnePlus 10 Pro 5G

Dimapur, Jan. 7 (EMN): Chinese smartphone company OnePlus has revealed its latest flagship android phone, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, its second phone co-developed with Swedish camera maker Hasselblad.

Through a series of teasers on its website, Twitter and YouTube, OnePlus has revealed some few details about its much-anticipated flagship OnePlus 10 Pro 5G smartphone and here is all of them.

Chipset

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC like all upcoming android flagship phones. Being an octa-core chipset based on a 4nm manufacturing process and clocked at 3GHz, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is expected to run fluidly.

Camera

Surprisingly, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is rumored to use the same rear camera setup as its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro. The only camera upgrade will be on the front where the device feature a higher resolution 32MP lens for selfie duties. However, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G will have new software optimisations for its camera including “Hasselblad Natural Color Optimization 2.0” for improved colour accuracy, second-generation Hasselblad Pro Mode with RAW+, 10-bit colour photography, fisheye lens mode and more.

Display

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G will come with a large 6.7” QHD+ AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with 1-120 Hz variable refresh rate. LTPO technology helps devices switch refresh rates whenever applicable to save battery life.

Design

This year’s OnePlus 10 Pro has a refreshed design with a square camera module that bends around the edge. The company has revealed that the device will be available in two colour options: volcanic black and forest emerald.

Other features

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G also features a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Price

The company has not revealed the price of the device for India but reports suggest that it will cost around INR 45,500 for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant all the way to INR 58,000 for the top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
