T20 WCC: Lancer A, Dynamics blowout their opponents

Wokha, Jan. 7 (EMN): Lancer A and Dynamics registered easy wins over their respective opponents at the ongoing T20 Winter Cricket Challenge held at Wokha local ground on Friday.

In the first match, Sesame Jinx Club won the toss and decided to bat first. To their dismay, they scored a paltry 38 runs in 14.1 overs losing all wickets with Shibu Thakuri contributing ten runs for the team.

Thungchamo of Lancer A, in his four overs delivery claimed a maiden restricting 15 runs and getting four casualties, while Sanjay Shiva, who was also the man of the match, claimed four wickets in his 2.1 overs with just two runs.

Lancer A quickly registered victory by eight wickets in five overs with Inakato Zhimomi making 24 runs (not out).

Ajay in his two overs delivery collected a wicket for 12 runs for Sesame Jinx Club.

In the second match, Tempo CC won the toss against Dynamics and opted to bat first, setting a target of 44 runs and trailing all wickets in 11 overs.

Yanpothung contributed 11 runs to the team score. Along of Dynamics, in his three overs delivery collected five casualties for nine runs while Kumchan in three overs delivery claimed five wickets.

Dynamics won the match by nine wickets in 4.3 overs with Tumbon and Zuben contributing 22 runs and 16 runs (not out) respectively.

Epyothung of Tempo CC in his 2.3 overs claimed a wicket while Along from Dynamics was the man of the match.

On Jan. 8 (Saturday), Blackcaps Tseminyu takes on White Woods in the first match while Rising Star takes on PND Cricket Club in the second match of the day.
