WOKHA — Englan Range Students’ Union (ERSU) on Monday organised a rally on “War against drugs”.

The event kicked off from Yikhum Village in the morning and marched towards New Changsu Village, covering six villages across the Englan Range.

ERSU informed that the rally was organised to create awareness of the growing menace of drug addiction among students and youths. Students held placards displaying slogans urging others to abstain from drug abuse and to be free from any form of addiction within the jurisdiction.

ERSU urged the people within its jurisdiction to stop the sale of drugs and the use of any intoxicating substances.

The rally was attended by more than 200 members, including union officials, students in uniform, youths, and women.
