Dream can be achieved through dedication, discipline: Pujara

Pujara-picture copy copyDimapur, May 18: The Indian international cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara visited the ongoing BCCI-sponsored coaching camp for under-16 cricketers for the north east region under the guidance of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Dimapur and interacted with the young cricketers.
Acording to a press release from the Nagaland Cricket Association, Pujara narrated to the youngsters how he has reached the highest levels of the game through sheer hard work, discipline and commitment. He also encouraged the youngsters to be fully committed, work hard and stated that any dream can be achieved through dedication and discipline. 
Interacting with officials of the cricket association, Pujara observed that cricketers from the north east were very talented and had tremendous potential to reach the highest standards of the game. He also expressed satisfaction that he could visit the north east region through the game of cricket and hoped that his visit will motivate youngsters from the region to take up the game in a serious and professional manner. He appreciated the role of the BCCI in game development activities and said that he would love to visit the region again and spend a longer period with young cricketers.

Currently, 25 cricketers from the north east states of Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Nagaland are participating at the coaching camp under the supervision of a team of seven coaches and trainers from the National Cricket Academy at Dimapur. These 25 cricketers were selected from a pool of 58 cricketers in three day selection trials under the BCCI national junior selectors.
