A seminar on “Right Leadership” was held for police officers on November 16 in the conference hall of the Superintendent of Police of Dimapur. Rev Luoliehu Yimsung was the resource person. The seminar was attended by police officers from the district police and women wing of the IR Battalions. The resource person is the coordinator of Global Indigenous Prayer Network, Australia and is also the Initiator and Ambassador at large of Overseas Naga Association. Rev Yimsung gave a message on the key factors of leadership which is so essential for a policeman whose duty is to respond and lead from the front in many life and death situations.
He emphasized on the formula for building a winning team and also cautioned the group on the impact of a weak player on the team. The speaker also underlined the need to have good and responsible leaders in the police force and those with strong character so that the morale of the force is maintained high.
