Dimapur: With an aim to promote and encourage cricket among the youth in Kohima village, the Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation organised cricket coaching camp at D Khel Ground, Seikhazou, from May 10 to the 17th.
An update informed that a total of 51 players, including nine girls underwent the coaching camp, which was organised partnership with Kohima Village Youth Organisation and supported by Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA).
The camp was open to all, irrespective of age and gender, with or without experience in the sport, it said, adding that 11-year-old Menguvor Khezhie was the youngest player to attend the camp.
Coaches from NCA, including head coach Nehal Ahmad, coach Keneizetso Medom, coach Dziesevotuo John Medom and Physio Mowalong Kichu conducted the camp, said the update.
