Dimapur, April 13 (EMN): Chief Minister, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu has greeted the people on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter. In his message, Dr. Shurhozelie said Good Friday is the most important day for Christians, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His death at Calvary. According to him, it is centred towards feeling of sorrow, at the pain and humiliation that Jesus underwent for the cause of goodness and to save our souls.
On the occasion, he wished that everyone be blessed with the goodness of Good Friday and that all may give thanks to God through their living.
“Just like after every night comes a new day, after a painful death comes a new life. Pray that the Lord fill our hearts with peace, hold us in His love and bless us with His grace,” Shurhozelie added.
