DIMAPUR— The Brillante Piano Festival which began on Sep. 28 concluded with a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on the city’s music enthusiasts. Temjen Imna Along, Minister of Tourism & Higher Education Nagaland graced the closing ceremony.

The two-day festival was held at the prestigious Prestige Centre for Performing Arts & Forum South Bengaluru.

An update issued on Wednesday informed that the festival showcased an extraordinary blend of talent, diversity, and musical excellence.

The 5th edition of the festival, presented by Kodaikanal International School, saw participation from 18 countries and 16 Indian states, bringing together a truly global community of musicians.

With thousands of participation from around the world, the festival offered a rich variety of showcase stage performances , workshops, concerts, panel talks, and more.

Among the many highlights were performances by Lydian Nadhaswaram, Manoj George, Radha Thomas, Prof. Marouan Banabdallah, Dr. Adam J. Greig, Aman Mahajan, Amirthavashini, KIS Choir, Nalayak, Sunepsangla, Jentijung Trishana Aier, Anivo Nagi,Noune Kuotsu, Hope Academy Dimapur, Ülikhrei folk group and many more . 

Specially Abled Musicians (SAM) programme, a special initiative of the Brillante Piano Festival provided a dedicated showcase stage for SAM artistes from different parts of the country. This initiative offered a platform for these talented musicians to perform, demonstrating the festival’s commitment to inclusivity and empowering diverse artistes, the update informed.

Khyochano TCK, Founder & Director of Brillante Piano Festival, said, “Brillante has once again proven that community matters and we are a beacon to bring people together through what we do musically. Our existence is validated by the overwhelming overwhelming response from both artistes and audiences, participants and collaborators. It has exceeded our expectations. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring together such a diverse and talented community.”

Renowned philanthropist Revathi Kamath, who inaugurated the festival, expressed her admiration for the event, saying, “I’m truly honoured to have been a part of the Brillante Piano Festival.

The festival’s commitment to nurturing young talent and celebrating the richness of piano music is commendable. It’s a testament to the power of music to unite and inspire.”

The Brillante Piano Festival also served as a platform for emerging talent, providing opportunities for young musicians to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience.
