BJP minority morcha to observe ‘Seva Pakhwada’ in Nagaland

Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): BJP Nagaland minority morcha will observe ‘Seva Pakhwada’ (service fortnight) from September 17 to October 2 under the leadership of the state president, Temjen Imna Along, and president of minority morcha, Deep Kumar.

An update from BJP minority morcha informed that a special state-level committee has been formed with Bikram Das as convener and Sanjay Dey as co-convener along with three other members.

Commemorating the birth anniversary of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the minority morcha would organise a blood donation programme at the Blood Bank of the District Hospital, Dimapur, on September 17 from 10 am followed with a health camp at PWD Rental Housing campus on September 18 from 10 am to 1 pm.

The morcha would undertake massive tree plantation and water body cleaning programmes between September 22 and 24 at various places in the state along with the district units.

The morcha would also celebrate the birth anniversary of Sri Deen Dayal Upadhaya on September 25 at Midland, Dimapur, by organising a talk on his theory of “Integral humanism.”

From September 26 to the 30th, the morcha would visit various vaccination centres in the state to distribute fruits and juices to the beneficiaries and observe the ‘Khadi purchase day’ on October 1.

The morcha would observe the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri by organising “Swachta and Samman Diwas” (cleaning and honour day) on October 2. The members would undertake cleanliness drive in various parts of the state and also felicitate the ex servicemen (ESM) on October 2.
