Dimapur, March 31(EMN): A group of 50 enthusiastic motorbike riders organised a prayer rally for Dimapur early Wednesday morning. The rally kicked-off from DABA, and would stop at various locations to pray for Dimapur before the start of activities in the town.
Speaking to Eastern Mirror, DABA youth director Jongshimanen informed that the rally was initially started by the DABA mission director Imnatoshi Longkumer in February 2021 to pray for Dimapur.
As many people love to ride bikes, he said it is a good opportunity to bring the bikers together and to pray for Dimapur.
“We can also use this platform to create awareness, especially for the bike riders, as there are many bikers who ride at their own interest and with the coming of highways we fear many accidents,” he said adding, “We can also tell the work of God as they pray for Dimapur.”
He informed that riders from different walks of life come together where, “we just ride, stop at different locations and pray for Dimapur and then we will disperse”. Stating that it is a self-sponsored activity, he hoped to organise in the following month as well.
He informed that the bikers only go in and around Dimapur and was not a whole day activity but a few hours only. He added they pray at different locations before the start of day’s activities.
