Authorities seek claimants for deceased man in morgue

The authorities have issued a note seeking information about persons who might know or identify a man identified as one Iqbal, aged around 65 years from Khatkhati in Assam, who died while undergoing medical care at Dimapur hospital. Dimapur police issued a press release on Tuesday stating that the deceased was reportedly admitted to the District Hospital of Dimapur on March 27 by an unidentified person.
“He was brought to the hospital by an unidentified non-Naga youth. While undergoing treatment, the patient expired the same day. No person has come forward to claim the dead body and efforts to find the families and relatives has not yielded results,” the police informed.
The police said that the dead body has been kept in the morgue. For more information, one may contact East Police Station.
