Assam Chief Minister inspects preparations for PM Modi’s visit

Diphu, April 27 (EMN): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma inspected The preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Loringthepi for ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav – Rally for peace, unity and development’ along with Minister Pijush Hazarika, HAD Minister Jogen Mohon and Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Chief Executive Member (CEM) Tuliram Ronghang on Wednesday.
The CM inspected the main stage, where the PM will be addressing the gathering. He also inspected the other pandals and the whole area of the meeting venue. The vast paddy field is being used for the mega rally. Toilet and drinking water facilities are being made. The rally is expected to draw more than 3 lakh people.
