Dimapur, April 27 (EMN): The Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) has called for a 12 hours of prayer and fasting on April 30 from 6 am to 6 pm.
NBCC general secretary, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, has urged all its constituent churches and members to humble themselves before God and confess their sins, repent and commit ourselves afresh to the service of God. He has urged the people to join with believers across the state and seek God’s guidance and wisdom.
He has urged to pray for unity of church leaders, leaders in the government, different political parties, Naga political issue and the leaders, tribal leaders, upcoming elections and clean election movement, students and teachers.
He has also urged to pray for the sesquicentennial (150 years of Christianity) celebration in Nagaland this year, for healing of the state and world peace.
NBCC has requested everyone to honor the day so that God would listen to the plea and rain down His blessings to the land.
