Array of contests mark 8th Magnum Opus in Chümoukedima
DIMAPUR — The eighth edition of Magnum Opus, organised by Act of Kindness (AOK), was held on Wednesday at Green Park in Chümoukedima, featuring a variety of competitions, stalls, and concerts.
Among the competitions held during the event were an original singing competition, art competition, pottery competition, start-up pitch competition, and photography competition.
MRKSA Fusion by Rotila Sangtam won the start-up pitch competition, while Guardian System 23 by Kewugiakhai Mom, Ayala T Jamir, Medotso Peseyie, and Visalia Z Sangtam from Livingstone Foundation International finished second. The two will be incubated at Educentre—School of Business.
Lipoktila Longkumer from Maple Tree School and Nutele Khesoh from Hope Academy won first and second places, respectively, in the junior category of the art competition on the theme ‘Landscape of Nagaland’ while Temjensunep and Toto Swu finished first and second in the open category, respectively.
Theyiesinuo Keditsu, assistant professor at Kohima College, Kohima, was the special guest for the evening, while Jentiren Jamir, second runner-up, Miss Nagaland 2022, made a special appearance.
