Alluring Nagaland: Art exhibition of two self-taught artists
An exclusive art exhibition titled ‘Alluring Nagaland’ featuring the works of two self-taught homegrown artists — Among Venuh and Vimhakho Sotetsu
KOHIMA — An exclusive art exhibition titled ‘Alluring Nagaland’ featuring the works of two self-taught homegrown artists — Among Venuh and Vimhakho Sotetsu — will be held from May 24 to the 26th at the Gallery of Contemporary Art, Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma.
Curated and managed by Artists of Nagaland, the art exhibition is being organised in association with Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) and will start at 11 am on Wednesday.
The artists said they want to showcase the beauty of Naga culture and traditions through the medium of art as well as to appreciate the rich culture, traditions, and nature of Nagaland.
Through the exhibition-cum-sale, the duo wishes to exhibit their talent and creativity. Hence, they urged art lovers to come forward and show support by buying and appreciating their art works.

It may be mentioned that Among Venuh is a self-taught visual artist by profession. His style of art is mostly plein air, impressionism, and landscape.
Vimhakho Sotetsu is also a self-taught artist by profession. His paintings are primarily influenced by Naga’s vibrant culture.
