Adolescent and health awareness camp held at Tamlu

Dimapur, Sep. 21 (EMN): Tamlu Sub-Division Administration, Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), and Community Educational Centre Society (CECS) jointly organised an adolescent and health awareness camp on Sep. 20 at Christian School Tamlu.
Extra Assistant Commissioner, Tamlu Nukshimatong, who graced the programme, enlightened the students about the importance of health and hygiene in daily life. Dr. Bendangkokba Alinger spoke on adolescent and health, while coordinator MMU, S Limawapang, elucidated on depression among the youth in today’s society and its evil effects.
Head Master of Christian School, Shaophen Phom chaired the programme, was the moderator for the camp.
More than 250 students from Government High School and Christian School of Tamlu town attended the programme and availed facilities provided.
It was informed that this was the first of its kind organised for the welfare of the students’ community in Tamlu sub-division.
