Abandoned newborn baby video an old clip, clarifies Childline Dimapur

Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): An old video claiming that a newborn baby boy was found abandoned wrapped inside a cement bag at the state stadium in Dimapur resurfaced and went viral on social media on Wednesday, April 20.

Refuting the claim, the Childline Dimapur clarified that the video was an old one taken in 2020, wherein a newborn baby boy was found at the state stadium near ADC court junction in Dimapur.

A member of the Childline Dimapur, Jolly Rolnu, told Eastern Mirror that she had informed administrators of various Facebook pages to take down the video. She also said that the Childline and the police would have been alarmed and on their toes if such incident had happened.
