Dimapur, Feb. 20: A medical camp was organised by the 41th Assam Rifles under aegis of the Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) on February 20 at Sitikima village in Dimapur. The Security force said in a press release on Monday that doctors from the Assam Rifles and a team of medical staff tended to about 132 patients during the camp.
“The patients were given free consultation and medicines and also made aware of hygienic practices and preventive measures,” the press release stated.The medical camp was conducted as part of Operation Sadbhavana, the security force informed. The event “brought smiles and succour to villagers of Sitikima Old and neighbouring villages who have limited access to healthcare,” it stated.
