A Reminiscence to our most beloved Dad,
Late H.Vihoto Chophi
(09/04/1945 – 11/04/2016)
This Fathers day, we do remember that…..,
….you brought Love to the Unloved;
….you brought Care to the Uncared;
….you brought Smiles to the Sad;
….you reached out to the less Privileged;
This Fathers’ day, we do remember that….,
….you spoke for the Unspoken;
….you stood for the Undefended;
….you embraced the Discarded;
….you sympathized the Ignored;
This Fathers’ day we do remember that….,
….you brought us Sunshine after the Rain;
….you brought us Laughter after the Pain;
….you brought us Shelter after the Storm;
This Fathers day….,
….Rivers seemed to Roar in Pain;
….Mountains seemed to Tremble in Shock;
….Clouds seemed to Rush in Restlessness;
….the Sky seemed to Gush torrents of rain in Mournful sorrow;
….the Sun seemed to hid its Face in Grief;
….when they realised that you were no more.
This Fathers’ day, Woe is to our shattered Hearts, for we do not know…..,
….whom to Call Ipu (Dad); ….whom to Buy Gifts;
….whom to Laugh with;
….whom to Pray with;
This Fathers day, we are completely at lost….,
for without you, O’ beloved dad….,
….we are like Ships without Sails in a vast Ocean of the Unknown;
….we are like Drifters in a big World of Oblivion;
….but, we do believe that your guiding Spirit is still with us like a Guardian Angel in every steps of our lives;
“YOU WERE, AND STILL,
A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH, O’ DAD…!!”
Yours Most Precious;
