Oriental College students showcase skills at 3-day Skill Fest
DIMAPUR — Oriental College Kohima concluded its three-day Skill Fest, showcasing a range of student-made crafts and services.
The students displayed and sold their creations, demonstrating skills developed during the training programme, stated a press release.
The fest concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, recognising the resource persons for different trades and the students for their successful completion of the training sessions.
The valedictory function was chaired by Karishma Rasaily, fifth semester, B.Com. Concluding remarks were given by Chibeni Murry, vice president, administration, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Tumben Ngullie, head of the department, History.
The different trades in which the students were trained over the three days included mushroom cultivation, basket making, bamboo works, carpentry, electrical fittings, beauty and wellness, embroidery, knitting and weaving, baking, and coffee making.
