GPRN/NSCN bars N Kitovi Zhimomi from using ‘ato kilonser’ title
DIMAPUR —In an order addressed to N Kitovi Zhimomi, issued by the office of the President and Speaker, National Tatar Hoho, GPRN/NSCN, he has been asked not to use the designation of ato kilonser/general secretary of GPRN/NSCN (Unification).
The order, dated May 23 and signed by President Gen. (Retd.) M B Neokpao Konyak and Speaker Ritsa Sangtam, stated that they take serious note of the “unwarranted acts” of him following his impeachment from GPRN/NSCN on April 21, 2024 and his expulsion from the primary and active membership of the organisation on May 15.
“With effect from the date of your impeachment on 21st April 2024, you stand barred from using the designation of Ato Kilonser/General Secretary of GPRN/NSCN (Unification) and as well stand prohibited from making any official correspondences or communications under the guise of the Ato Kilonser/General Secretary of GPRN/NSCN (Unification),” it read.
The order added that it was issued following the unanimous decision of the National Tatar Hoho and the council of kilonsers, contrary to the allegations circulated by him.
‘Moreover, you cannot absolve yourself of the unpardonable violation and injustice meted out to the organisation,’ it added. He was also warned against the use of name, seal or any prior designations he had with GPRN/NSCN (Unification) and to desist from any kind of defamatory camping against the officials.
