Nagaland CM Rio, NITI Aayog vice chairman to inaugurate Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, along with the vice chairman of NITI Aayog, will inaugurate the Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre (IBH and IC), Dimapur, on March 13.
The Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) informed in a press release that the initiative will foster economic growth and development in the region.
“The inauguration of IBH&IC represents a milestone in Dimapur leading the way in Nagaland’s journey towards becoming a hub of innovation and enterprise. With state-of-the-art facilities and a conducive ecosystem for collaboration, IBH and IC is poised to support startups, entrepreneurs and businesses in realising their potential and contributing to Nagaland’s economic prosperity,” read the press release.
The presence of NITI Aayog vice chairman and a delegation of more than 10 dignitaries, underscores the central government’s unwavering support for initiatives that promote innovation and economic development across the nation, it said.
The NITI Aayog official’s itinerary includes a visit to Kohima to pay homage at the War World II Cemetery, honouring the sacrifices of the brave soldiers, and engaging with local stakeholders in one of the Aspirational districts, emphasising NITI Aayog’s commitment towards driving inclusive growth across the country.
It went on to state that the inauguration of the IBH and IC heralds a new era in Nagaland’s economic landscape, promising to unlock opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
“With the steadfast support of NITI Aayog and its esteemed partners, Dimapur stands poised to metamorphose into a bustling epicentre of innovation and enterprise, a testament to the resilience and dynamism of the Nagaland spirit,” it added.
