Eight persons injured in road mishap

DIMAPUR — Eight persons sustained injuries when a Dimapur-bound Tata Sumu passenger vehicle coming from Longleng met with in an accident early on Friday morning.

The mishap occurred few kilometers away from Longleng before Changtongya town at around 7 am due to technical snag. Miraculously, there was no casualty except for minor injuries. The vehicle was carrying eight passengers.

Sources informed that two person sustained severe injuries but were out of danger. The front part of the vehicle was badly damaged including the windscreen and bumper.
