Art and Culture dept. set to host Hornbill Festival

DIMAPUR — The department of Art and Culture is all set to host Hornbill Festival 2023.

An update from the department informed that daily cultural performances would be held at the main arena. It informed that 18 cultural troupes from within the state would be arriving soon to showcase their lively songs and dances in their colourful traditional attires.

The Artists’ Corner at the World War-II Museum premises at Kisama would display and sale of art works and demonstrative arts etc.

The archives week would showcase selected historical documents from public and private collections with reading facilities for interested students, scholars and researchers besides sales of departmental publications at World War-II complex.

A must visit places included the World War–II Museum, where outstanding relics and artifacts would be put up on display. The museum would be opened to the public from 10 am to 4 pm.
