He encouraged the young minds to be productive assets of the society and achieve the goal with clear direction and to be dedicated to one’s effort. He emphasised that the bottom-line of education in today’s generation is to learn, relearn and continue to learn in order to be professional.

“Today you have to be the best of the best to obtain something worthy in life,” he persuaded the students.

Besides, he urged the school to impart cosmopolitan cultural spirit and a strong sense of cultural identity in this rapid globalised world.

“Education institutions which can instill and enhance these capacities are essential to promote effective development and human relationship. If this centre is to fulfill its mission, it must work on this pragmatic direction,” Longkumer added.

He further advised the school sticking to its uncompromising commitment to become a better version of themselves and lead the hallmark of the institution to be quality students and teachers in academic standards.

In the words of the school director and co-founder, Prakash De, Carewell School was established to provide good foundation and joyous learning environment to toddlers at Fellowship Colony. He added that the school was shifted to urban Duncan Basti in 2000.

The director stated that classes were conducted in thatch house till 2009. He added that in 2013, the first HSLC batch of five students passed out with 100% result. Since then 100% pass result consistency was maintained with four toppers till date, De said.

“The completion of 25 years is a milestone of an educational education and since its inception the school has earned considerable appreciation of providing quality education and creating loving caring atmosphere of happy learning for children,” De added.

Recollecting the journey of the school, De conveyed with pride and joy that the school has been fulfilling its mission in imparting holistic education to help build the leaders of tomorrow, who will bring about culture of peace and love that our society needs today.

“Success is not always instant and progress can take time but if we stay committed to our goals and keep moving forward, we will eventually see results. The school will be here and it belongs to everyone. With the support and guidance from everyone the school will reach farther highest and receive accolade of success” he said.

The director conveyed his sincere gratitude for the endless support received from past and present parents, headmasters, headmistress, teachers, administration and numerous well-wishers without which the school would not have been here.
