‘Veera Simha Reddy’ beats ‘Thunivu’, ‘Varisu’, ‘Waltair Veerayya’ at US box office

Bengaluru, Jan. 14 (EMN): Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Veera Simha Reddy” opened on a high note at the US box office, surpassing the day-1 collection of Ajith Kumar’s “Thunivu”, Vijay’s “Varisu” and Chiranjeevi’s “Waltair Veerayya”.
This Sankranti will witness the release four big-ticket south Indian movies — “Veera Simha Reddy”, “Thunivu”, “Varisu” and “Waltair Veerayya” — across the globe after an impressive premiere shows in the United States, collecting collected nearly $2 million in the country.
“Veera Simha Reddy”, which has Nandamuri Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, collected $708,472 at the USA box office from preview shows in over 300 theatres.
