‘Kuttey’ review: Tabu steals the show; what netizens say about Arjun Kapoor-starrer

Bengaluru, Jan. 14 (EMN): “Kuttey”, which marks the debut of Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasman Bhardwaj as a director, features Arjun Kapoor and Tabu in the lead roles and actors Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, and others in the supporting roles.

The film has music scored by Vishal Bhardwaj, editing by Sreekar Prasad’s editing and cinematography by Farhad Ahmed Dehlvi.

“Kuttey” story and review

The movie is about a van filled with money. It revolves around Gopal (Arjun Kapoor), Paaji (Kumud Mishra), Pammi (Tabu) and Lovely (Radhika Madan) who want to change their lives and have big plans. But will they achieve their goals? You have to watch the film for the answer.

The narration of the movie is quite chaotic with some thrilling moments here and there. Besides the obvious logical loopholes, some may wonder the purpose of bringing the Naxal angle and character Lakshmi (Konkona Sen) in the storyline.

Performance wise, Tabu and Kumud Mishra did a good job and improvement could be seen in Arjun Kapoor’s performance as well. In short, Tabu steals the show.

Music and background score add value to the final output and Farhad Ahmed’s cinematography is impressive.
