Dimapur, Jan. 9 (EMN): The monthly Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of January was held at DC’s conference hall, Peren, on Monday under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner and vice chairman, DPDB Peren, Vineet Kumar.
According to an official report, during the meeting the DC reviewed the agenda required for the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) enrollment. He reminded the house that since deduction from salary has already started, the departments which have not completed the enrollment process are requested to do so at the earliest.
Regarding the preparation of the upcoming elections, Kumar informed the house that all heads of department as the nodal officers should ensure that employees are present during the training, which will commence soon. He also pointed out that since the district is facing shortage of employees since 2012-2013 due to retirement, exemptions to election duty should not be entertained, barring genuine concerns. He further requested the members to maintain political neutrality.
The DC entrusted SDO Hq. Kelevituo Nisa, to make necessary arrangements with all the departments for the upcoming Republic Day celebration.
After the meeting, training on the use of EVMs and wireless set was imparted to the members by EAC Peren, Seyievilie Pfukri and addl. SP Peren, RT Chang respectively.
Meanwhile, Vilhouhunuo Sachu, the district planning officer & member secretary, DPDB Tseminyu, has also informed all concerned members that the monthly Tseminyu DPDB meeting will be held on January 13, at 12 noon in the official chamber of deputy commissioner, Tseminyu.
All the DPDB members and officers of the district have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
