Nagaland: NIELIT organises workshop on startup

Kohima, Dec. 16 (EMN): Gogivers Recruitment Agency (GRA) on Friday won the first position of the “Technovate- Think, Visualise and Realise” workshop on startup, organised by the National Institute of Electronics and IT (NIELIT) Kohima.
The programme was jointly organised by NIELIT Kohima and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, government of India, while the prize money was sponsored by StartUp Nagaland and department Industries and Commerce, government of Nagaland.
The winner won a cash prize of INR 50,000, while GroPlan won second position and was awarded INR 30,000. Scholars Bay was adjudged the third winner and won a cash prize of INR 20,000 and Vi Techs and Ujala TLC won consolation prizes with INR 10,000 each.
A total of 17 startups were enrolled for the competition out of which Top 10 were listed and the finale was held on Friday.
NIELIT Kohima will also provide an incubation centre to the Top 10 finalist with incentives based on performance.
The judges of the competition were Harkunwar Singh, CEO of Oneistox from Bengaluru; Keneirienuo K Theunuo, Startup Nagaland team leader and assistant director of Industries and Commerce; and Rishav Sethi, HOC, NIIT Dimapur Centre and entrepreneur and financial strategist. They also spoke during the workshop and motivated the participants.
