Dimapur, Nov. 6 (EMN): Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has extended Tokhü Emong greetings to all the people of the state, especially the Lotha community.
“It is a post-harvest festival and the people rejuvenate through the celebrations after a period of tremendous hard work in the field,” read the message.
“Tokhü Emong signifies ending of all bitterness and strengthening the familial and social bonding. It is also a celebration of unity and gratitude. Let us always uphold these rich cultural legacies. May this auspicious occasion bring good health, peace and prosperity,” it added.
