State records 14 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths

Dimapur, Oct. 25 (EMN): Nagaland recorded a single-day rise of 14 Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the tally to 31,726 and active caseload to 247.
The state’s cumulative recoveries rose to 29,768 following recuperation of eight more patients in the last 24 hours, while the death toll increased to 666 with two more fatalities.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, six positive cases were reported in Dimapur, two each in Kohima, Mokokchung and Wokha and one each in Tuensang and Mon on Monday.
Nagaland currently has 247 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 194 are asymptomatic, 42 mild, five moderate on oxygen, and six severe on oxygen.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has the highest number with 123 infections, followed by Kohima with 48, 30 in Tuensang, 16 in Mokokchung, 10 in Wokha, eight in Longleng, four each in Phek and Mon, and two each in Peren and Zunheboto, while Kiphire is currently Covid-free.
