Lotha Students’ Union felicitates HSLC, HSSLC toppers

Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) felicitated six meritorious achievers of the recently declared NBSE exam of class 10 and 12 students’ toppers.

Narsen Ngullie (third position in HSLC), Esther L Ezung (fourth position in HSLC), Wonchilo T Khuvung (10th position in HSLC), Noyingbeni R Odyuo (20th position in HSLC), Lothungbeni Kikon (fifth position in HSSLC, Science stream) and Kithunglo M Humtsoe (10th position in HSSLC, Science stream) received late Thungchano Tsanglao memorial meritorious award which was handed over by Dr. LT Tsanglao husband of late Thungchano Tsanglao.

 During the programme, the family members of late Thungchano Tsanglao while congratulating the toppers also acknowledged all the successful candidates of class 10 and 12 of the recent exam results declared by NBSE.

 Felicitation of toppers was done by Pithungo Shitio, general secretary of the LSU, where the LSU also handed over a certificate to all the toppers, which were handed over to the students by the Lotha Eloe Hoho.

Lotha Eloe Hoho also thanked the family of late Thungchano Tsanglao for providing a platform to acknowledge the toppers as the achievers’ award encouraged and brought a more competitive environment to the student community.

Meanwhile, the students were told to continue to pursue their dreams and bring laurels through their academic achievements, assuring them that they would uphold through prayers and wished them the best in their future endeavors.

LSU cultural secretary Noyingbeni Odyuo, appreciated the toppers for all their sacrifices and thanked the parents of the students for their love and support. She also told the students to work hard in their studies and remain tall in the competitive environment.

 Rev. Abemo Jungio, Pastor, WTBC in his special prayer for the toppers remarked that ‘life without education in the present generation is like a person who is deaf, blind and dumb’. He encouraged the students to always remember God and move forward.
