Nagaland records 77 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths; tally rises to 25382

Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): The total number of Covid-19 cases in Nagaland has increased to 25,382 and active caseload to 1280 with 77 new infections reported in the last 24 hours.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 77 new cases detected on Friday, Dimapur reported highest infections at 32, followed by Kohima-16, Mokokchung-15, Wokha-4, Phek-3, Tuensang-3, Mon-2, and Zunheboto-2.
Nagaland’s Covid recovery rate has improved to 90.2% after 116 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, wherein Dimapur and Mokokchung registered 28 recoveries each, 16 in Kohima, 15 in Tuensang, 14 in Zunheboto, seven in Longleng, four in Mon, three in Phek, and one in Peren.
The state has registered 22,897 recoveries so far and 484 deaths with no new casualties reported in the last 24 hours.
Nagaland currently has 1280 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1119 are asymptomatic, 113 mild, 30 moderate on oxygen, eight severe on oxygen, two in ICU without ventilator and eight in ICU with ventilator support.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 380, Dimapur-335, Mokokchung-247, Tuensang-94, Peren-76, Zunhebot-39, Phek-37, Wokha-26, Mon-24, Kiphire-21, and Longleng-1.
