Nagaland records 275 new Covid-19 cases, 13 deaths on Friday

Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): A total 275 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Friday, pushing the state’s active caseload to 3741 and tally to 17,531.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the new cases, 176 were in Dimapur, Kohima- 74, Mokokchung- 13, Phek- 6, two each in Mon and Peren, and one each in Zunheboto and Longleng.
He added that 66 patients – 41 in Dimapur, 18 in Kohima, two each in Peren and Phek, and one each in Mon, Mokokchung and Longleng – had recovered in the last 24 hours.
The state has registered 13034 recoveries so far and 179 deaths, out of which 11 have been ruled “not Covid-related”.
